The Scrambler Mid, perhaps the lightest and most comfortable technical hiking boot ever made!
Compare your insole length to the guide below. To find your insole length, measure your foot and add 1.5cm for a regular fit, 1cm for a snug fit or 2cm for a looser fit. If you are between sizes we recommend going for the larger size.
To measure your foot most accurately, stand on a tape measure with your heel against a wall. While standing up and looking over your foot, read the measurement at the end of your longest toe. Remember to measure both feet and use the measurement of your longer foot. Find out more here.
"Insole cm" is our in-store measurements of the shoe's insole. "Brand cm" is the insole length the brand has given us, which is what you'll find on the box or on the brand's website. Our shoes are measured with the same method each time, so use the "Insole cm" column to get an accurate size you can compare across brands.

All this information is compiled so you can simply enter the length of your foot in centimetres, choose your preferred fit, and our calculator will recommend a size for you! The best boots yet Doug, 18 November 2023 Having suffered a very 'black' big toe, hiking down a number of long steep trail descents, from my toes impacting the front of my boots, I needed to get better fitting ones. After extensive online research I decided to buy the Xero Scrambler barefoot boot. I liked the ankle protection better than the lower models. These boots have now done a few trips out, rock hopping, rainforest hiking, gravel fire trails. I am so super impressed. They are incredibly light, yet very supportive. I love the 'feel' they give me. I combined them with 'toe' socks. A match made in heaven. My feet are not tired after a full days hiking and I can walk normally once I take them off. My old boots (Merrell moab 3) left my feet aching and stiff ankles for quite some time after removing them. It's not often I give such a lengthy or glowing review, but these boots deserve it.
