| Zero Drop Running Shoes
Altra is an American running shoe company that boasts a wide range of designs to match each individual’s running style and environment. Altra shoes feature unique Zero Drop™ technology, which eliminates the height difference between the heel and toe of the shoe. In most running shoes, the heel is significantly elevated. Altra believes that a large height difference encourages heel-striking, leading to increased landing impact and resulting in running injuries. Altra shoes also implement a wide toe box, which promotes natural toe splay when running to improve your comfort. Their women’s shoes are designed for female feet, with a narrower heel and midfoot, longer arch, higher instep and unique toe shape.
