Your torso size is the most important measurement and is what determines your pack size. Many Osprey packs are available in multiple sizes to fit a range of torso lengths. To determine your torso measurement at home have a friend measure the length of your back along the spine. Start at the iliac crest which is an imaginary line drawn across the top of your hip bones. From this level, measure to the C7 vertebrae, the knobby bone at the base of your neck that protrudes when you put your head down. Make sure to keep your back straight while your friend makes the measurement. If you are between sizes, it's best to come into our store, where you can try on both sizes.

The Osprey Talon Pro 40 Men's Pack stands out with its torso adjustment and premium injection-molded framesheet, which adapt to a range of body sizes for an optimal fit. Constructed from NanoFly Fabric, it combines durability with lightweight design, holding up under rigorous use while minimizing pack weight. Certified as a Bluesign Product, it assures environmental and consumer safety throughout its lifecycle. The pack's top-loading design with drawcord closure and extendable floating lid offer flexibility in packing volume, while the FlapJacket feature allows for secure, lidless use. An internal compression strap and hydration reservoir sleeve enhance load management and hydration accessibility, respectively. For gear attachment, it includes tuck-away ice axe attachments and removable accessory pad straps, alongside dual upper quick release and V-pull lower side compression straps for load adjustment. Storage is ample with large stretch-woven front panel pocket and side pockets, as well as dual-zippered fabric hipbelt pockets.
