This carbon fiber half-plate speed shoe is designed for your fastest, long distance runs. Lightweight, high-cushion and ready for race day.
Compare your insole length to the guide below. To find your insole length, measure your foot and add 1.5cm for a regular fit, 1cm for a snug fit or 2cm for a looser fit. If you are between sizes we recommend going for the larger size.
To measure your foot most accurately, stand on a tape measure with your heel against a wall. While standing up and looking over your foot, read the measurement at the end of your longest toe. Remember to measure both feet and use the measurement of your longer foot. Find out more here.
"Insole cm" is our in-store measurements of the shoe's insole."Brand cm" is the insole length the brand has given us, which is what you'll find on the box or on the brand's website.Our shoes are measured with the same method each time, so use the "Insole cm" column to get an accurate size you can compare across brands.

All this information is compiled so you can simply enter the length of your foot in centimetres, choose your preferred fit, and our calculator will recommend a size for you! Finally, a super shoe made for midfoot and forefoot strikers The first time I tried on the Altra Vanish Carbon shoes, it was as though I had put on a bionic suit for my feet. Despite being a zero-drop shoe, the rockered yet bouncy midsole instantly put me on my toes and made me want to run. The carbon plate provides enough stiffness for efficient running, yet provides pop when you need it - especially when sprinting or running uphill. Despite the high stack height of the shoe, it is quite stable when cornering, thanks to the wide base, FootShape last, and the three-pronged carbon plate. After running three half marathons and smashing a previous PB by nearly two minutes, I am truly impressed by this shoe. This shoe is a contender!
