The Mountain Racer 4 has become more than just a race day shoe, and has become a favourite for trail runners looking for a daily trainer for use on technical terrain.
Compare your insole length to the guide below. To find your insole length, measure your foot and add 1.5cm for a regular fit, 1cm for a snug fit or 2cm for a looser fit. If you are between sizes we recommend going for the larger size.
To measure your foot most accurately, stand on a tape measure with your heel against a wall. While standing up and looking over your foot, read the measurement at the end of your longest toe. Remember to measure both feet and use the measurement of your longer foot. Find out more here.
"Insole cm" is our in-store measurements of the shoe's insole. "Brand cm" is the insole length the brand has given us, which is what you'll find on the box or on the brand's website. Our shoes are measured with the same method each time, so use the "Insole cm" column to get an accurate size you can compare across brands.

Continuing to use the Vibram Megagrip, providing industry leading traction and slip resistance, the MR4 features an improved upper to ensure an enhanced fit, more suitable for technical terrain. The FKT insole, made from TPU beads, now allows for a more responsive step in feel and faster water drainage. An improved gaiter attachment system allows for a more universal fit.
