I was initially nervous about buying my first pair of barefoot shoes. They weren’t cheap, and I was worried about regretting the purchase if I didn’t like them. However, from the moment I tried them on in the store, I loved them. They fit perfectly and felt great. Despite the advice to ease into barefoot shoes gradually, I started wearing them every morning for my walks right away and had no issues. I’m used to being barefoot around the house, so that might have helped. I’ve also worn them on a hill hike, and they were fantastic. It was such a relief to walk on rocks and actually feel secure with my foot gripping the surface. My old hiking boots always felt like stiff platforms that made me wobble over uneven terrain. I absolutely love these shoes and can’t wait to expand my collection, which currently consists of just one pair.
