These minimalist yet versatile shoes are sleek for casual wear, light enough for gym workouts, and equipped enough for trail racing and cross country.
Compare your insole length to the guide below. To find your insole length, measure your foot and add 1.5cm for a regular fit, 1cm for a snug fit or 2cm for a looser fit. If you are between sizes we recommend going for the larger size.
To measure your foot most accurately, stand on a tape measure with your heel against a wall. While standing up and looking over your foot, read the measurement at the end of your longest toe. Remember to measure both feet and use the measurement of your longer foot. Find out more here.
"Insole cm" is our in-store measurements of the shoe's insole."Brand cm" is the insole length the brand has given us, which is what you'll find on the box or on the brand's website.Our shoes are measured with the same method each time, so use the "Insole cm" column to get an accurate size you can compare across brands.

All this information is compiled so you can simply enter the length of your foot in centimetres, choose your preferred fit, and our calculator will recommend a size for you! Merrell's leadership in the barefoot category continues with the Trail Glove 7. Key updates include more natural foot positioning for a true minimalist feel, a Vibram EcoStep outsole that wraps the foot to maximize grip and connection, and a minimal midsole made of FloatPro Foam, Merrel's best midsole foam. Within the midsole, the Trail Glove 7 also integrated the FLEXconnect dual-directional flex-grooves for enhanced ground connection. Total stack height on these shoes is 14mm. Return to barefoot with the Trail Glove 7.

As trail shoes they make very good slippers !!! Geoff, 8 May 2024 I was attracted to the Merrell Trail Glove 7 for its minimilistic barefoot characteristics. Believing Merrell to be a reputable brand I believed their description of the shoe and its usues. However after only a few weeks of use and only 30 t0 40 km of bushwalking on very gentle sandy / gravel trails I am already experiencing severe wear on the tread part of the heel. These shoes promised so much but failed on the delivery of this promise. I am very dissapointed and would not recommend them other than for indoor slippers.
