You will experience a customised, secure fit every time you gear up, thanks to the dual top and back strap hook-and-loop closure system that allows quick on-the-fly adjustments. Yes. Because the upper part of the Huntington Sports Convert is built entirely of waterproof synthetic materials and neoprene (no real leather), it will not rot, stiffen, or crack from saltwater or pool chemicals. However, you should thoroughly rinse them with fresh tap water afterward to prevent salt crystals or chlorine films from degrading the hook-and-loop glue over time.

No. The Merrell Huntington Sport Convert sandals, like most injected EVA foam and bonded rubber sport sandals, the outsoles cannot be cleanly separated and resoled by a cobbler once worn down. They are built to last the lifetime of the original bonded tread.

Depending on your foot shape, yes. A few consumers note that when wearing the Merrell Huntington Sport Convert, if your foot pronates inward heavily, the rigid triangular plastic loops holding the synthetic straps of the can press or rub against the lower ankle bone or the base of the small toe.
