The Suunto Clipper is an attachable southern hemisphere compass for outdoor gear, designed to free up your hands. Made in Finland, the Clipper compass features luminescent markings for low light conditions and clips for your watch strap, sleeve and map.

The Suunto Clipper features:

  • Liquid-filled, jewel-bearing compass
  • Cardinal directions in luminous prints on card
  • Direction on rotating bezel in 10° increments, with an accuracy to 5°
  • Clips to your watch strap, sleeve, backpack strap, side of map, etc.

Suunto clipper mini compass

I prefer a measure of redundancy when I bushwalk, and the Suunto clipper compass provides an excellent backup to my general use orienteering compass. The features of this small and very light device are such that I rarely use the larger compass, preferring the clipper instead to confirm my map to ground navigating.
