The Sea to Summit Nano Permethrin Headnet is designed to protect you from irritating and disease-carrying mosquitoes and other insects such as sand flies.

The Nano headnet features:

60% lighter make than S2S’s standard headnets
Compact design
15D Ultra-Vis 80 hole/cm² hexagonal black mesh for improved visibility and airflow
Superlight elasticised neck draw cord
Soft multifilament fibre
Handy stuff sack

This headnet is treated with World Heath Organisation recommended permethrin. Permethrin is a very safe and effective insecticide, recommended to reduce malaria and other vector-borne diseases. It dazes mosquitoes on contact; with repeated contact, the insect will die. The dosage used on Sea to Summit’s nets has not been found to harm humans, but if you have concerns please consult your medical practitioner. The permethrin treatment will dissipate with time and washing.
