Extremely comfortable

The Sea to Summit Ultralight Mat is a great option for people wanting a light and comfortable mat for camping trips or multi day hikes. I personally used this mat on a 5-day hike and was impressed with how comfortable it was. If you’re a side sleeper however I would recommend going for a thicker mat as after a few hours of side sleeping I could start to feel the ground. The pump valve is very easy to use and is quick to blow up or deflate the mat. The material has held up well on rock/dirt and is easy to keep clean. The biggest downside I initially found with this mat was how noisy the material is. Although I got used to it quickly and don’t notice it at all, your tent partner may not appreciate the sound I can only describe as a balloon animal. That being said, if you’re after a light, compact, comfy and durable mat without spending a fortune this is the mat for you!
