This low-cut hiking and approach shoe offers all-day comfort, dependable waterproofing, and precise foot support, making it ideal for light hiking, woodland walks, and urban adventures. At its core, the Mojito Trail GTX features a durable water-resistant suede upper with a protective rubber toe cap to fend off abrasions. Inside, a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane, BlueSign approved and PFC-free, provides breathable waterproof protection for year-round use. The Salix sole, equipped with an ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) midsole and Vibram XS Trek outsole, delivers excellent traction and shock absorption on uneven surfaces. Coupled with a lace-to-toe system borrowed from climbing shoes, it offers a secure, customisable fit for a variety of foot shapes, including a wide version for added comfort.

My 3rd pair, I hope Scarpa keep making the,Mojito Trail GTX. They actually help with propelling you forward and are very stable on rough tracks like the mt feathertop hike . They a absorb rough terrain well and with the padded tounge and lacing system you can get a perfect fit. Highly recommended.

Tough enough for the trail, smart enough for town

I got these shoes mainly for taking my dogs for their twice daily walks in the bush. I have now also worn them on a couple of multi-day hikes with a 15kg pack over some pretty steep and rough terrain. They were a bit stiff out of the box and took a few days to break in. They now fit like a glove and have stood up admirably to a decent amount of punishment . I've also been caught in a storm with them where the water got almost over the top edge, but they stayed completely dry inside - not one drop of water got in through the Gortex liner. After all that they still look smart enough to wear going out with a pair of jeans.
