The SCARPA Maestro is a beginner to intermediate climbing shoe with plenty of support for edging and enough flex for smearing.

The multi-purpose Maestro climbing shoe features:

Eco Leather upper - intricately-stitched 3-panel suede and microfibre with air holes for long-term wear and comfort, with a combination lace system that spreads pressure evenly across the forefoot
Talyn midsole - gives integral support to the foot while under pressure on small holds and maintains flex for smearing
IPC-Tension rand - this Integral Power Connection (IPC) rand helps maintain the strength of the foot during micro-footholds, strongly supporting the foot during prolonged use
Vibram XS Edge | XS Grip outsole - provides maximum edging support, with excellent pure grip and improved firmness for the most challenging edging moves. Thanks to an improved resistance to plastic distortion, it keeps its shape even after hours of use, maintains consistent feel in both hot and cold temperatures, and is formulated for improved durability. Plus, the under-heel layer of XS Grip provides better heel friction
Master-crafted FY last - straight and slightly downturned shape with a medium-to-low angled toe box that allows the Maestro to be fitted with a semi knuckled-up or flatter toe position.
