Waterproof mid-height hiking boots with a wide fit, durable leather upper, updated cushioning, and improved outsole grip for year-round trail use.
Compare your insole length to the guide below. To find your insole length, measure your foot and add 1.5cm for a regular fit, 1cm for a snug fit or 2cm for a looser fit. If you are between sizes we recommend going for the larger size.
To measure your foot most accurately, stand on a tape measure with your heel against a wall. While standing up and looking over your foot, read the measurement at the end of your longest toe. Remember to measure both feet and use the measurement of your longer foot. Find out more here.
"Insole cm" is our in-store measurements of the shoe's insole. "Brand cm" is the insole length the brand has given us, which is what you'll find on the box or on the brand's website. Our shoes are measured with the same method each time, so use the "Insole cm" column to get an accurate size you can compare across brands.

The LOWA Renegade EVO Mid Wide GTX Men's Shoes are the latest evolution of LOWA’s renowned hiking footwear line, crafted specifically for those who demand top-tier comfort, waterproof protection, and performance on the trail—all in a wide fit. Engineered with a fresh look and fewer seams for improved durability and reduced pressure points, the Renegade EVO is ideal for everything from year-round hiking to moderate backpacking trips. The upper is made from nubuck leather, ensuring long-lasting performance with sustainable craftsmanship. A GORE-TEX lining guarantees breathable, waterproof protection, while the double-injection DuraPU (durable polyurethane)/DynaPU (dynamic polyurethane) midsole offers improved cushioning and energy return. The newly designed Vibram RENE TRAC outsole enhances grip and traction across varied terrain. This moderately stiff boot delivers optimal balance between support and flexibility, and includes a LOWA Monowrap support frame for enhanced stability. Designed with a wide last for extra toe room and foot volume, the boot features 2-zone lacing for a custom fit. Despite its robust build, the Renegade EVO remains surprisingly lightweight, with each shoe weighing approximately 590 grams, and is built entirely free of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), aligning with modern sustainability standards.

If your LOWA boots need repair of replacement due to a defect in workmanship or materials, simply return your LOWA boots to your LOWA boots dealer with proof of purchase within 12 months of purchase. Does not apply to ordinary wear and tear or to damage resulting from abuse, negligence, improper repairs, inadequate fit, alterations, modifications or if your LOWA boots are used other than in the manner intended.
