Compare your insole length to the guide below. To find your insole length, measure your foot and add 1.5cm for a regular fit, 1cm for a snug fit or 2cm for a looser fit. If you are between sizes we recommend going for the larger size.
To measure your foot most accurately, stand on a tape measure with your heel against a wall. While standing up and looking over your foot, read the measurement at the end of your longest toe. Remember to measure both feet and use the measurement of your longer foot. Find out more here.
"Insole cm" is our in-store measurements of the shoe's insole."Brand cm" is the insole length the brand has given us, which is what you'll find on the box or on the brand's website.Our shoes are measured with the same method each time, so use the "Insole cm" column to get an accurate size you can compare across brands.
Please note that Asics Kids' shoes come in two versions: Grade School and Preschool. Both versions feature the same model, but in velcro/elastic laced (Preschool) and laced (Grade School) versions.

The ASICS GEL-Kayano 31 GS Kids Shoes are built for young runners who want stability and comfort on every adventure, whether it's daily runs or longer activities. Made with recycled Engineered Mesh uppers, these shoes let little feet breathe while staying strong in high-wear areas for extra durability. The FF BLAST PLUS ECO Midsole adds a cloud-like bounce with responsive cushioning and energy return, helping kids run smoothly with extra support, and is made with approximately 24% bio-based content for a more sustainable choice. Additionally, using a solution dyeing procedure instead of a normal dying method, the sock liner is created with about 33% less water and 45% less carbon emissions. Plus, Rearfoot PureGel technology cushions each heel strike for a soft, cloud-like feel with every step.
