ANTU Bamboo Waterproof Socks are your solution to wet or sweaty feet, with a breathable, windproof, totally waterproof design.

Naturally antibacterial and sweat absorbing, these over-ankle sports and outdoor socks are lightweight and designed to save space and weight in your pack. ANTU waterproof socks use a three-layer construction (outer, interlining, and inner) to draw away excess moisture from your feet and to repel water from outside environments. ANTU socks’ durable nylon outer shells resist abrasion; their waterproof, breathable interlining membrane allows perspiration to escape but prevents exterior water from entering; and their wicking inner liner helps manage moisture.

CARE
Improper treatment could damage these socks’ performance. Good care will extent your socks’ life so that they can care for you longer.

  • Hand-wash recommended, but machine-washable below 40°C
  • Drip dry after turning inside-out
  • Do not iron
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not dry clean
  • Do not wear without shoes/boots, so that their membrane is not punctured and causes leaking
  • Work best with shoes that allow sweat and moisture to escape naturally, such as athletic shoes or hiking boots.

Kept feet mostly dry in rain and on flooded tracks

I wore these socks on the Kepler Track in NZ from Feb 2 to Feb 5 2020. I wore them over liner ‘toe’ socks. They kept my feet mostly dry in my Altra trail runners during some serious rain (approx. 1 metre of rain fell in 60 hours)! My feet got a little wet on the third day. After the walk I noticed that each sock had a small pinhole at the front that let water in/out - they were water tight except for that one point. For staying in huts, I suggest getting a bright colour as it’s hard to find black socks on the drying racks.
