The Altra Vanish Tempo is a training companion to the Vanish Carbon.
Compare your insole length to the guide below. To find your insole length, measure your foot and add 1.5cm for a regular fit, 1cm for a snug fit or 2cm for a looser fit. If you are between sizes we recommend going for the larger size.
To measure your foot most accurately, stand on a tape measure with your heel against a wall. While standing up and looking over your foot, read the measurement at the end of your longest toe. Remember to measure both feet and use the measurement of your longer foot. Find out more here.
"Insole cm" is our in-store measurements of the shoe's insole."Brand cm" is the insole length the brand has given us, which is what you'll find on the box or on the brand's website.Our shoes are measured with the same method each time, so use the "Insole cm" column to get an accurate size you can compare across brands.

The Altra Vanish Tempo is a training companion to the Vanish Carbon. Constructed on the same platform as the Vanish Carbon, the Tempo has the same energetic EgoPRO midsole without a carbon plate. Removing the plate allows the shoe to move freely throughout the gait cycle increasing comfort and versatility.

The Vanish Tempo is a lightweight performance training shoe. The upper and outsole of the Vanish Tempo have been restructured, adding to the Tempo's versatility and durability. Eliminating the plate has improved the flexibility in the shoe, giving the Tempo a more versatile ride. The Tempo is built around Altra’s Slim FootShape and provides ample forefoot room for toe-splay with a solid lockdown in the midfoot and heel collar. The outsole receives a higher durometer outsole rubber for excellent traction and durability. Altra's Vanish Tempo is a versatile shoe that will excel at up-tempo training over many paces and distances.
