The Vivobarefoot Gobi Boot Junior Shoes are designed to deliver uncompromised anatomical movement and dependable protection for active kids 8 years old and over. Scaled specifically for older children and youth, these mid-profile boots feature a flexible upper made from chrome-free Wild Hide leather that naturally adapts to growing feet while remaining durable enough for everyday adventures. A protective suede toe bumper and mudguard are cleverly integrated around the base to shield against scuffs and scrapes during climbing, running, and playing.

To accommodate unpredictable weather, the footwear features an adaptable thermal barrier with a removable faux shearling and felt insole that can be left in place for insulation during cold winter days or taken out on warmer days to keep feet dry and comfortable. A classic closure system with organic cotton laces ensures an adjustable, snug fit, while the sidestitched outsole reinforces structural integrity for long-lasting wear.

Beneath, the specialised Kids Urban Play outsole acts as an ultra-flexible multi-terrain outsole, boasting a thin 2mm base with 2mm hexagonal lugs to provide sticky traction on city concrete, park trails, and school grounds alike.

Despite its rugged resilience, the minimal overall weight preserves true barefoot feel, encouraging healthy balance, sensory connection to the ground, and unrestricted movement.

Key Features:

Low weight: At only 192.3g per shoe, the minimalist design ensures maximum agility without overburdening young legs during active play.
