The SILVA Expedition 4 is a 1-2-3 baseplate compass for experienced navigators that is a global leader in accuracy, precision and durability.

The Expedition 4 Compass features:

360 degree graduation, with map-measuring scale in mm, inches, 1:25k, 1:50k, and GPS. Can also map-measure 1:40k.
Slope card, helping you to calculate avalanche risk and to determine extra distance you travel due to slopes.
Clinometer, allowing you to measure angles of slope, elevation or depression with respect to gravity.
Magnetic declination adjustment, which once set allows you to use this compass without having to account for declination until you move to a new location with a different declination.
Detachable scale lanyard with two scales (1:25 and 1:50) that is soft, bendable, and easy to place directly onto your map and route to measure the distance of your hike.
Magnifying glass to help you see even the most intricate details on your maps.
Luminous, distinct graphics for nighttime viewing.
DryFlex housing for easy handling.
