It’s the only way to know how well your mat will prevent your body heat being leeched away by ground temperatures (which can be a lot colder than air temperatures). And a 6.3 is extremely high!
• THERMOLITE insulation - dual-density layers of high-loft, hollow-core THERMOLITE insulation boost warmth and prevent convective heat transfer while keeping the sleeping mat lightweight and packable.
• Air Sprung Cells - with 10cm of stable cushioning, you'll stay far away from the cold hard lumps and bumps beneath your mat. Each Air Sprung Cell deforms independently and allows the mat to conform to your body shape while evenly dispersing pressure across the mat’s surface for ultimate comfort.
