The Petzl Swift RL Classic Headlamp is an ultra-powerful and intelligent illumination solution engineered for demanding outdoor pursuits like mountaineering, trail running, and night skiing. Delivering a maximum output of 1200 lumens while tipping the scales at a weight of just 95 grams, this headlamp boasts an exceptional weight-to-power ratio.

Its advanced ambient light sensor automatically evaluates surrounding illumination to adapt both brightness and beam geometry, maximising burn time while minimising the need for manual adjustments. Users can easily alternate between reactive lighting for automated optimisation, standard lighting for steady output, and targeted red lighting (available in continuous or strobe settings) to preserve night vision or signal position. Equipped with a mixed beam pattern, the lamp seamlessly transitions between close-range visibility and long-distance focus reaching up to 168 metres.

A single control button manages all power and mode toggles, including a dedicated lock function to prevent accidental activation during transport.

The included rechargeable battery powers the unit via USB-C (charging cable not included), complete with a five-stage battery charge indicator to eliminate guesswork around remaining power and charging time.

Designed for comfort during dynamic movements, it features a wide classic headband with a Petzl-patented split rear construction, that is a detachable, washable, and replaceable headband built with a reflective element in the back to increase low-light visibility.

Additionally, the IPX4 weather resistant housing ensures reliability in harsh elements, while the included SHELL LT storage pouch doubles as a light-diffusing lantern, ensuring long-term utility through easy spare-part repairability.
