Ready to take your trail runs to the next level? The norda 001A Women’s Shoes are built to go wherever you do fast, light, and strong.

You’ll feel the difference from the first step with its seamless Dyneema upper, offering a sock-like fit that’s both ultra-light and incredibly durable. Every stride is powered by a responsive norda’s Arnitel thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPEE) midsole, while the Vibram Litebase outsole with Megagrip gives rock-solid traction on any terrain.

This is more than a running shoe, it's your new trail essential.

Key Features:

  • Ultra-lightweight: At 232g (size 8 USW), provides an incredibly light feel that reduces fatigue during ultra-distance efforts.
  • 5mm Drop: Promotes a balanced and efficient stride.
  • Seamless Bio-Circular Dyneema Upper: Blending the world’s strongest fibre with ISCC-certified and Bluesign-approved materials to deliver top-tier performance with reduced environmental impact.
  • Bespoke Arnitel TPEE Blend: Designed for responsive cushioning, support, and long-lasting durability, ideal for high-impact trail running.
  • Vibram Megagrip + Litebase: Outsole made of Vibram’s high-performance Megagrip rubber compound combined with 5mm lugs and Vibram’s Litebase technology for a lighter and thinner sole, providing grip, traction, and durability on rugged, technical terrain.
  • Norda Lock System: Ultra-lightweight sock and gusset construction that keeps the foot perfectly cradled and secure.
  • Custom Expanded Thermoplastic Polyurethane (eTPU) Insole: For maximum energy absorption and return, this insole helps maintain comfort during long-effort days.
  • Dyneema Laces: Diamond-patterned and 4x stronger than standard laces for exceptional durability and a secure, stay-tight knot.
  • 360° Hi-Vis Reflectivity: Stay safe and visible during low-light conditions with high-visibility hits from the front to the rear of the shoe.
The Norda 001A runs slightly small, and officials recommend sizing up by a half-size (US) compared to your standard running shoe. Choosing a larger size maintains the shoe's secure midfoot and heel lockdown while allowing proper toe splay in the toe box.
To increase stability on sharp, technical descents. While keeping the overall shape streamlined, Norda widened the ground-contact platform of the 001A by 3mm at the forefoot and 2mm at the heel compared to the original 001. This slightly broader footprint acts as a natural stabiliser, preventing ankle rolls when navigating loose rocks or tree roots without needing heavy, plastic stability posts.
To prevent the shoe from losing its internal plushness. Most running shoes use basic OrthoLite or EVA insoles that permanently flatten out within 100 miles. The 001A includes a premium, expanded TPU (eTPU) beaded insole. Because eTPU is made of thousands of tiny, resilient elastic capsules, it retains its bounce and shape for the entire life of the shoe, providing a consistent "step-in" comfort.
