Thank you from Oceania 2026

This year, we sponsored the Oceania 2026 Orienteering Carnival event in Canberra, and the organisers of this event sent us some very kind words about our contributions here at Wildfire Sports that we are very proud to share!

"A heartfelt thank you to Wildfire Sports for your generous support of the Oceania 2026.

Over the course of the carnival, 1121 competitors from across Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia and further afield came together in Canberra for a memorable week of racing. From the granite and open forest of Bogong Creek, to the mist at Honeysuckle Creek, the wild weather at Stromlo, fast sprint racing at ANU and the excitement of the Australian Schools Championships, there were plenty of challenges, colour and enjoyment along the way.

Your support of the Wildfire Sports Oceania Long Distance Championships, with the generous $1,200 in gift certificates, added enormously to the occasion. The prizes were a real highlight for competitors, rewarding our elite and junior winners while also giving competitors from across the age classes the excitement of being in the running for a prize.

It was wonderful to be able to celebrate strong performances with something competitors could genuinely enjoy and use well beyond this carnival.

Thank you for supporting Australian orienteering and for helping make Oceania 2026 such a memorable event."
