Next up, we have the Salomon Active Skin range of vests, which are essentially your budget-friendly alternative to the Salomon Advanced Skin. 

That does not mean these are inferior products by any means, many runners opt for the Salomon Active Skin due to its better ventilation and value for money. However, they are constructed with slightly less durable materials. 

Salomon Sense Pro Hydration Pack

 

The Salomon Sense Pro hydration pack is one of the lightest running vests from the brand so far. We recommend these hydration vests for elite runners looking for a lightweight and breathable option.

Salomon Pulse Hydration Pack

 

The Salomon Pulse 2L sits at the opposite end of the spectrum to the Salomon Sense Pro. This is Salomon’s smallest running vest and features the regular 2 soft flasks on the front with a simplified chest strap and a small storage compartment on the back. The compartment is ideal for a running jacket and phone, but won’t fit much else. 

Due to its compact size, the Salomon Pulse is the cheapest Salomon vest we stock at Wildfire Sports & Trek and is great for shorter runs.
