The AeroForm Premium Snake Bite Bandage with Continuous Indicators is a premium heavyweight conforming bandage for venemous snake bites, Funnel Web spider bites, Blue-ringed octopus stings and Cone shell stings.

This bandage is designed for use with the Pressure Immobilisation Technique (PIT), which you should use to treat:

All Australian venemous snake bites (including sea snakes)
Funnel Web spider bites
Blue-ringed octupus stings
Cone shell stings.*

The PIT slows the lymph flow, by which venoms gain access to your circulation. It essentially traps the injected venom within the tissue it was injected by the pressure bandage. This can also inactivate certain venoms and venom components. PIT gives venemous bite and sting victims a better chance of survival until they can get professional medical treatment.

This bandage features:

10cm x 10.5m dimensions when stretched - wider and longer than most crepe or elastic bandages, this bandage is of sufficient length to bandage a large adult leg
Continuous indicators - to ensure you have the correct pressure over the entire limb.

*Please note that PIT should NOT be used for:

Other spider bites (including redback spiders)
Jellyfish stings
Fish stings (including stonefish bites)
Scorpion, centipede or beetle stings.
