Adventure Medical's Tick Nipper is a safe and easy-to-use tick remover for people and pets.

Ticks pose a serious health risk to our families and pets. Anyone who spends time camping, hiking, gardening or enjoying the outdoors runs the risk of a tick threatening their safety.

Removing ticks with fingers or tweezers is dangerous because it is easy to squeeze, twist or pinch the tick, which may leave its mouthparts under the skin or force disease microbes inside the tick back into the skin.

Luckily, using the Tick Nipper is easy as 1-2-3:

Slide the long, thin jaws under the tick's body - designed to fit under even the smallest ticks!
Grip the tick - no matter how hard you squeeze, the big stops between the handles prevent you from cutting off the tick's embedded mouthparts
Pull the whole tick straight out with a gentle upwards tug - which removes the tick with its mouthparts fully intact.

You can then use the 20x lens placed in the forceps' hub to examine both tick and wound to verify complete removal.
