The Sea to Summit Ember I is an ultralight convertible quilt that can be used as a blanket or sleeping bag as you prefer: perfect for cycle touring, backpacking, lightweight hiking, and travel. Its multiple configurations allow versatility across a wide range of temperatures and environments. In warm temperatures, keep your feet and arms free by using the Ember like a traditional quilt. When the temperature drops, cinch the drawcord tight to create a foot pocket and use the strap and press stud system to secure your quilt to your mat.

The Ember I features:

ULTRA-DRY water-repellent treatment - protects the down from external moisture and condensation from the inside of the bag, virtually eliminating the negative effects moisture has on down
Sewn-through quilted baffle - keeps the down in place for a reliably even heat retention with minimized weight and bulk
Foot drawcord - tighten to create a mummy-shape foot box; then use the press studs down the side of the quilt to close its bottom half to create a cunning pocket that you can secure over a sleeping mat
Adjustable strap system with press studs - allows you to secure the quilt’s upper half to a sleeping mat, ensuring that you stay securely atop your mat and trap as much warmth as possible
Ultra-Sil Nano compression bag - keeps your bag wrapped up tight while traveling
Storage cube - keeps your bag's down light and fluffy when sitting in storage at home.
